The System 7 Pack! is both a System 7 customizer and accelerator. The System 7 Pack! is an application—not an INIT—so it will not consume any memory or interfere with any other programs on your Mac. (Plus, you can put it anywhere on your hard drive that you want. No need to put it in the System Folder.) The System 7 Pack! Extras Control Panel, like other Control Panels that include INIT code, does consume a minimal amount of memory, but is extremely reliable as it uses the jGNEFilter mechanism to do its work. It is independent from the System 7 Pack! application, so you do not need to use them together, although we’d certainly recommend it for maximum productivity from your Mac!
